If only...

If only I had an extra room in my house...big enough to have tons of shelves and closet space... I'd have a playroom for Beeker and I like this... a projector against a wall or even a soundproof theatre type room would be a nice plus too! (Thanks for the link Hairy Cupid!)

My reaction to it...

"HOLY CRAP!" ...

Greg's reaction to it...

"Holy. Mother. of. God." Classic.

Roller Coaster

Today's been up and down. Tired. Bouncing. Happy. Torn and frustrated. Bored. Wonderful. Bummed.

Ecstatic.

According to the directions on my Jury Duty Summons letter, I'm supposed to call this number for reporting updates. The automated operator voice tells me that there's three sessions that need to go to the court at different times. 9:30am...press 1. ...Dismissed. I don't need to report to the courthouse and I won't be eligible for jury duty for another twelve months. Wahoo!

Asking some of my coworkers about their jury duty experiences to better figure out my work schedule went to crap. Oh well.

Food coma.

Vroom Vroom...

No.. it's not what you think. I haven't bought a car yet. =p

I'm just a bit shocked that I'm excited over my new gadget purchase - it's not an iPod, a video game, or even the computer I keep telling myself I'm going to learn to build. It's a freakin Dyson vacuum cleaner. Every time I think of a Dyson, I think of the heavily accented guy on the commercials. Mine's not the typical yellow one. It's this obnoxious purple and green that's slowly grown on me.

After pulling it out of the box yesterday, Beeker and I decided to test it out. I vacuumed a few steps and a square patch near my garage door. With that little bit of test carpet, it picked up what I'd normally think it'd pick up in a whole room. And I wonder why I sneeze so much.

The cost was an arm and a leg, but it's priceless if it helps my allergies.

Unconditional Love

Lately, while I've been focusing most of my time on work and sleep, I've started to neglect Tivo. Tivo's there when I'm half asleep, not in my room, out of town... Tivo makes sure I catch up with my favorite shows, whenever I want, commercial free. Tonight, I flipped through Tivo and there's about 3 screens (some shows listing at 5 episodes) of catching up to do, not counting some DVDs sitting there as well (Love Hina, Bambi, Batman Beyond). I could watch movies on my shuttle commute into work, like some people I know, but my commute's not long enough. Maybe that's what I'll do this whole weekend - lay in my bed and make a date with Tivo. Yes...that's what I'll do.

Next..make a date with Gameboy.

Update: I spoke too soon. Tivo didn't warn me that it was too full and didn't tape the OC for me tonight. Fortunately, Biz volunteered to take notes and give me a full update tomorrow. =P

Google SMS never ceases to amaze me...

Go ahead and ask any question you'd like. Google SMS just rolled out Q&A. Maybe I'll make it one of my lifelines. =P
